The Free License gives you access to a community that is building the future of 3D content creation. It helps showcase your work, helps spread the word, and helps us build a better product.
You must abide by these usage terms:
Non-Commercial Usage — You may not use the content for commercial purposes.
No Inappropriate Content — Content should be safe for all ages.
Your exported work is:
Public — your exported content is uploaded to the Public Gallery and available for anyone to be inspired by, to download, and to use and remix for non-commercial reasons. Paying users can use the content in the public gallery for commercial purposes, as long as it is substantively remixed.
If owning your work is important to you, please consider supporting our product, as well as the further development of the community, by buying a license (which enables us to continue to provide free access to others).
You are free to use any work from the public gallery to:
Share — copy and redistribute the content in any medium or format. Please ensure to give appropriate attribution to the originator of the content.
Adapt — remix, modify, and build upon the content.
Masterpiece Studio reserves the rights to:
Use Exported Content — for machine learning, product improvement, promotions & marketing.
Delete Content from the Cloud — content will not be stored in the Public Cloud Gallery perpetually and may be deleted at any time at our discretion without notice to anyone.

Why are you launching a free, non-commercial version of Masterpiece Studio Pro?
We are committed to making 3D content creation accessible. Launching a free Masterpiece Studio Pro version helps creatives who have always wanted to make 3D content get started.
What is the Public Gallery?
The Public Gallery is the location where all models exported by Free users are showcased and available to download by any user. It can be accessed by all users in the left navigation bar of the Masterpiece Studio Pro desktop app.
What can I use the Public Gallery for?
You can browse it for inspiration and download projects to take apart and learn from. Free subscribers can use the assets for non-commercial projects e.g. indie games, 3D printing, education etc. Paid subscribers can remix assets and use them commercially.
When and how does my work get sent to the Public Gallery?
When you Export with the Free License your model is automatically uploaded to the Public Gallery and will be available for anyone to download and use in abidance with their licence usage terms.
What happens to my creations after they are exported and uploaded to the Public Gallery?
All exports with the Free license are automatically uploaded to the cloud and shared to the community in the Latest Work section of the Masterpiece Studio Pro Gallery.
If selected, your export may be showcased in a Featured Work section of the Public Gallery.
Your work is available to download and use by other licensed users according to the terms of that user’s license. This may include commercial uses by paid license holders.
Note that all exports may be reviewed and removed if it is in violation of our guidelines.
Will my saved files go to the Public Gallery?
No, only files you export using the Public Export option will show up in the Public Gallery. You can save files locally as a proprietary file format without uploading them to the gallery.
Can I remove my asset from the Public Gallery?
No. Once an asset is uploaded to the Public Gallery, you cannot remove it.
What if I don’t want to share my content publicly?

Can I bypass the Public Gallery?
If you have a paid subscription, you have the choice to upload to the Public Gallery or to bypass it and export privately.
What happens to my content in the Public Gallery if I change upgrade from Free to a Paid license?
Assets that you exported publicly under the Free license remain available to all users under the same terms as when they were exported.
Assets you export once you have the Paid license can be exported privately and can be used for commercial use.
